Cierra Chenier is a writer and creator born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Driven by her love for her city and its people, she created NOIR 'N NOLA® -- a platform highlighting the "history, politics, lagniappe, and soul of Black New Orleaans." In 2018, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and African- American Studies at Louisiana State University, where she served as the President of both the Black Student Union and Black Leadership Council.
Since beginning her career, Chenier has been published both locally and nationally, provided her words and voice for esteemed projects, collaborated on creative projects, and is a resource for written content and creative direction relating to Black and New Orleans history and culture.
